Mais après une nouvelle audience, le rappeur ne sera pas libéré sous caution et il va donc bien passer dix années de sa vie derrière les barreaux. La journaliste Meghann Cuniff a publié un communiqué sur les réseaux sociaux dans lequel, malgré la décision finale du juge, elle affirme que le chanteur canadien est resté souriant tout au long de l’audience.

Lanez’s bail motion is signed by a young attorney with Unite the People, which provides legal services to inmates.

Bail pending appeal is rare, but Lanez is asking Judge David Herriford to allow him to live with his son and new wife in a home he'll rent from a guy who rents out "exotic" homes and cars.

Tory Lanez is officially headed to prison.

"The motion will be denied and proceedings concluded. Thank you," Judge Herriford said.

Lanez grinned at his supporters, including his father and friends from the Unite the People legal services group, before being led out.
